Die MotoGP hat am Dienstag den provisorischen Rennkalender für die Saison 2019 veröffentlicht.
Wie in diesem Jahr wird die Saison in der Motorrad-WM 19 Rennen umfassen. Der Auftakt findet im Vergleich zu 2018 eine Woche früher, nämlich am 10. März 2019 am Losail International Circuit in Katar statt.
Die Reihenfolge der Grand Prix bleibt unverändert. Der Motorrad-Grand-Prix von Österreich steigt also eine Woche nach jenem in Tschechien am 11. August am Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.
Das letzte Rennen findet traditionell in Valencia (17. November) statt.
