Seit heute Montag lacht wieder Brooks Koepka als Führender von der Spitze. Der 28-jährige US-Amerikaner, der am 22. Oktober als 23. Spieler der Geschichte die Spitze übernahm und die Nummer-1-Position nach 14 Tagen vor einer Woche wieder an den englischen Olympiasieger Justin Rose abgeben musste, darf sich also freuen die insgesamt dritte Woche auf dem Golf-Thron zu sitzen.
Rose ist Zweiter.
Der 38-Jährige - seit 10. September insgesamt drei Wochen Leader - liegt mit 10,16 Punkten hauchdünn hinter Koepka (10,32). Dustin Johnson (USA/9,37), der Rose am 24. September wieder von der Spitze holte und sich insgesamt bereits über 81 Wochen in der Führung freuen durfte, ist Dritter des World Rankings.
Dustin Johnson beendet das Jahr 2017 als Nummer 1 der Welt, Brooks Koepka lag zum Jahreswechsel auf Platz acht, Justin Rose war am 31.12.2017 Sechster.
Wiesberger liegt 80 Ränge vor Schwab
Die Österreicher auf Top-Niveau liegen jenseits der ersten hundert Spieler.
Bernd Wiesberger, der vor seinem Comeback nach seiner Operation im Handgelenk steht, ist 146., European-Tour-Durchstarter Matthias Schwab findet sich auf Rang 226 wieder und PGA-Rookie Sepp Straka rangiert auf dem 414. Rang.
