As the Head of HR Austria, you will work together with and support our business leaders, HR Business Partners and functional HR Specialists in achieving strategic goals by applying your human resources expertise and your business and local market knowledge. You will be responsible for building out HR process for the Austria region and aligning HR services and initiatives for the three offices located in Austria (over 300 employees). Besides giving advice and working on different global projects you will be responsible for handling the day to day HR operations in Vienna together with a Junior HR Generalist and Local Office Admin team.

The successful candidate will be an expert in relevant HR topics for Austria and play a key role offering support to managers on employment relations, recruitment, labor law, social security, compensation & benefits, performance management and training and development.

The Challenge:

  • Provide support to managers and HR team focusing specifically on the employees located in the Austrian offices and the Austrian market
  • Work with colleagues in other offices to define HR for Sportradar in Austria, build out process, policies and procedures in line with Sportradar growth and vision
  • Be first point of contact for country specific HR topics - especially labor law, social security & tax and job market
  • Coordinate and be involved in recruitment processes and training & development initiatives
  • Implement and maintain employee programs, initiatives and policies
  • Plan, monitor and report HR activities
  • Look after Personnel administration and coordinate payroll services provided by an external company
  • Provide ad-hoc support for managers and employees of all kind

Your Profile:

  • Experience in a similar Regional HR in Austria supporting high employee numbers
  • Bachelor´s Degree in HRM or a related discipline
  • Understanding of HR best practices across all HR disciplines
  • Having good knowledge regarding Austrian labor law, social security & tax
  • Experience in a fast paced, changing and high growth business – effectively manages many competing priorities
  • Stakeholder management and confident influencing senior leaders
  • Representing the needs of the local business whilst effectively aligning with functional business areas
  • Operating in a complex matrix organization
  • Ability to challenge business partners
  • Commercial understanding/business savvy
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Eye for detail, accuracy, analytical and self-motivated
  • Be fast in adapting to new things

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, over payment will for sure be granted, depending on qualifications and working experience
